Charnacoin was a Monero clone that also cloned all of the original problems the early Monero code had. These issues led to a coin that would allow a great deal of double spending. The only exchange, southxchange, stopped trading. The devs proved to be incapable of fixing the code. After many weeks, the coin resumed trading only to find the issues still existed. The devs promised updates and even a coin swap with coin being moved to a new algorithm. This ultimately never occurred. The apparently incapable devs have been promising news of a relaunch every couple of weeks since the fall of 2017. These are continually delayed. The Charnacoin network is currently not working, the wallets are non-functioning, and no mining pools are in operation.
